Luis Flores, PhD Postdoc
Luis F. Flores received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He also completed his M.S. in Biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he worked on miRNAs that escape Meiotic Sex Chromosome Inactivation. He then completed his Ph.D. at the Mayo Clinic focusing on nuclear envelope proteins and their role in nuclear dynamics in pancreatic cancer. Luis is highly interested in the interplay between epigenetic regulation and cognition. Outside the lab, he enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and trying different types of food.
