Xinyue (Tracy) Chen Graduate Student
PhD Student, Neurobiology & Behavior Program
Xinyue (Tracy) is from Guangzhou, China, and she received her B.S. in neuroscience from University of California, San Diego in 2019. While she was in San Diego, she was an undergraduate researcher studying circadian rhythms in Dr. Satchin Panda’s lab at the Salk Institute, from which she was able to continue her interests in sleep. As she joins the co-mentorship between Liu Lab and Peng Lab in 2020, she determines to proceed her journey in exploring the sleep phenomenon together with her growing interests in epigenetics.
Outside of the lab, Xinyue loves running (e.g. half-marathon), singing, swimming, cycling, yoga (she has two teacher certificates for Hatha and Vinyasa), hiking, and writing/painting (e.g. self-published a child’s book).
