Liana Dawson received her B.A. in Medical Humanities with a concentration in Biology from Columbia University. In the summer of 2021 she joined the Liu Lab through the Summer Program for Underrepresented Students program. Her research interests are the psychologic and neurogenetic aspects of development and aging. Outside of the lab, Liana enjoys writing children’s books for fun and drawing (especially cute animals). She also likes to go for walks and grab meals with her friends. As an update in 2023, Liana is going to start her medical school in NYU Long Island School of Medicine!
