Bryan Uceda-Alvarez Undergraduate | Alumni 2021-2023
Bryan Uceda-Alvarez received his B.A. in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University. Bryan joined the Lab in the fall of 2021 as a research assistant and is now performing work under Xinyue Chen for his honors thesis project. His research was on understanding the role of epigenomic markers on sleep and memory within mice. When he isn’t doing a problem set or in the lab, Bryan enjoys cooking and exploring the New York culinary scene with his friends. He is also incredibly passionate about social justice and supporting other FGLI and underrepresented-minority students, working as a peer tutor and on community projects for URM students. Now Bryan is working as a Research Technician at Daniel Salzman’s neurobiology lab at the Zuckerman Institute since 2023.
