Jannie Ren is a DO Medical student at Touro osteopathic medical school and received her B.A in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, and M.S in biostatistics from Columbia University. After graduating, she joined Aetna as a data scientist to work on chronic disease management and prevention projects. Jannie joined the Liu lab in 2022 and performed work with Richard Pan on the application of epigenome editing in vivo. Outside of lab, her hobbies including watching movies, playing board games, and travel. Jannie returned to medical school to finish her residence in 2023.
