Leslie Yao, from San Jose, CA, is a premedical student in Neuroscience & Behavior at Barnard College. Leslie joined the lab in the spring of 2022 as a research assistant and performed work under Xinyue (Tracy) Chen on the epigenetic mechanisms of memory consolidation during sleep. Outside of the lab, Leslie loves to play badminton, explore music concerts, and seek out the best spicy food in the city. Leslie now works as a medical scribe at Mount Sinai.
