Biography

Jiayi Kang received her B.S. in Human Physiology from Boston University. Following graduation, she joined the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital as a research assistant under the mentorship of Dr. Haobo Li and Dr. Anthony Rosenzweig. Her research focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiac aging and diabetic cardiomyopathy, including the roles of N-acetyltransferase 10 and exercise-regulated RNA modifications in cardiovascular disease. Jiayi is now a graduate student in the Physiology and Cellular Biophysics program at Columbia University, where she is interested in exploring the mechanisms and potential therapies for cardiovascular disease. Currently, Jiayi started her 2nd lab rotation in our lab.
