Fanwei Ruan is a medical student majoring in Basic Medical Sciences at Zhejiang University in China and is expected to graduate with honors from Chu Kochen Honors College in 2024. While he was in Zhejiang University, he was an undergraduate researcher focusing on developing single-cell multi-omic technologies and analytical frameworks in Dr. Guoji Guo’s lab. Currently, Fanwei is doing his undergraduate thesis project in the Liu lab to study engram-specific DNA methylation in the basolateral amygdala and its impact on memory.
