Andre Adonnino Undergraduate
Andre Adonnino, originally from Clifton Park, New York, is an undergraduate at Columbia University studying Biochemistry. After working in neurology at the Peng Lab under the mentorship of Xinyue Chen for over a year, he sought to further extend his neurological interests to epigenetics and CRISPR at the Liu lab. Joining in the summer of 2024, he works alongside Richard Pan to determine the effects of various CRISPR-based constructs on neuron demethylation. He intends to further explore neurochemistry as he pursues an eventual MD program. Outside of the lab, he is a proud artist, engaging in various opportunities to create and share art in New York City.
