Aadesh Chordia Undergraduate | 2023

Aadesh Chordia was a fourth-year undergraduate student at The Ohio State University (OSU), majoring in Biomedical Science with a minor in Spanish. At OSU, he has spent the last two years involved in cancer immunology research in Dr. Susheela Tridandapani’s lab, where he is working to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying our innate immune response. As a 2023 summer student with Dr. Shawn Liu, Aadesh gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the epigenome while working on DNA methylation editing models. Through this experience, Aadesh is looking forward to developing new perspectives and research techniques to approach scientific problems. Though he loves pipetting in the lab, Aadesh’s other hobbies include running and rock climbing. Currently, Aadesh is pursing his MD in Ohio State University College of Medicine.
