Zhaojun Wang Research Associate | 2024-2025

Zhaojun Wang is from Jiangsu, China. She obtained her M.S. in Reproductive Medicine from Nanjing Medical University in 2024. While in Nanjing Medical University, her research focused on the development of mitochondria gene editors. Zhaojun is passionate about epigenome editing and joined the Liu lab as a research staff associate to focus on developing highly efficient and precise tools for targeted epigenetic modifications and potential therapy. Outside of lab, Zhaojun enjoys skating and playing footable. Since 2026 Zhaojun was recruited to Jennifer Doudna’s lab at Gladstone Institute as a research associate.
